Romagna is not only a land of sea and beaches. It is packed with history, culture and archaeological sites, spanning villages in the hinterland, Ravenna - the city of mosaics, exquisite fishing villages and the Cervia salt pan. Guests staying at Hotel Rosenblatt can make use of public transport to freely and autonomously explore the surrounding area.

The Cervia Salt Pan

An area of remarkable historical interest with an outstanding landscape, it is part of the Po Delta Park, and well worth a visit with the whole family. The natural park offers several guided tours to admire flamingos and other protected species, and to discover this fascinating microclimate. Besides the site’s natural beauty, you will learn about the world of salt production and processing. Absolutely fascinating!

Nature Park

The Nature Park of Cervia is the ideal site to spend hours of absolute peace and calm, discover forgotten fragrances and sounds, and re-establish the long lost contact with nature. A breathtaking gem, a green lung, where you can approach a large variety of animals, stroll along the trails, relax in the shade of pine trees, have a picnic and enjoy the fun of following the "Cervia Adventure" trails.

House of Butterflies

Standing in the midst of the suggestive pine forest of Cervia, the Butterfly House is a unique experience for those who love the wonder of nature’s beauty and variety! The heart of this site is the greenhouse, which daily witnesses the flight of hundreds of tropical butterflies in a reproduction of the rainforest climate and environment. The "Insect House" is a pavilion, home to the most extravagant insects. It introduces visitors to the world of invertebrates.

Three times the capital of the Western Roman Empire, Ravenna is one of the most visited Italian cities by foreign tourists for its ancient history and the presence of stunning, colourful mosaics. Unique in the world, they adorn many buildings in the city. Particularly visit the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the Mausoleum of Galla Placida, the Mausoleum of Theodoric and the Basilica of San Vitale. The port area is definitely worth a visit with its many beaches, which offer a large variety of activities and events for all ages in summer.

A small treasure chest containing important artistic jewels, including ancient Roman and Etruscan remains, as well as evidence of the Malatesta Lordship, Cesena is now called a "city of the Malatesta family". You can visit the Malatesta Library, the Malatesta Fortress, one of the most impressive in Romagna that offers a breathtaking view from its battlements, with "court" and two central towers: "male" and "female". The Archaeological Museum in the Kiosk of St. Francis is also very interesting. Findings date back to prehistoric, Roman and medieval times. Another monument worthy of note is the Palazzo del Ridotto with a bronze statue of Pope Pius VI made by Calligari.

San Marino

The Republic of San Marino, the oldest in the world, stands on top of Mount Titano. In 2008 it was defined a World Heritage Site. The three medieval towers, which offer a stunning view of the entire Riviera Romagnola, are the symbol of the town. Among the other villages, we recommend Santarcangelo, with its caves dating back to the Roman period - they were initially used as a place of worship and then as cellars to store food -, or San Leo with its impressive military fortress and two churches, the pre-Romanesque old Parish church and the Romanesque Cathedral.
